A Mindful Year on Substack
An enhanced journey with a bit more explanation of daily prompts and insights.
Its a gift to be part of your journey
Over the years, I have practiced enough meditation, and facilitated meditative experiences with clients to see that the most effective practices are tailored using your words, visions, and inspirations. It is so important to take what you already envision and weave that into structures that have been proven to work. The kind of change you can see using these practices can happen quickly, so I offer both short-term intensive and longer-term services depending on your interests and challenges.
Mindfulness coaching guides you through stuckness and goal achievement using meditative practices crafted specifically for your situation and struggles, informed by your values and also by your challenges. You will leave this coaching experience with a set of personalized meditations that specifically speak to and inspire you, personally designed to move forward through your life.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I’ve been incorporating mindfulness into regular therapy with clients for 15 years. But you don’t have to go to therapy to receive all the benefits of mindfulness. Mindfulness coaching can help you find direction and success in a matter of a few sessions.
What I Offer
In the Moment Coaching
At least 2 sessions, typically 90-120 minutes each.
Mindfulness: Establish a habit of practice that fits into your life or goals. We can focus on a particular issue or goal that you feel you could achieve with intense focus or structure mindfulness for everyday living. You will walk away with personal, crafted scripts and recordings that inspire you for your future.
Emotional IQ: Increase your empathy, your emotional vocabulary, and your awareness of how others may be feeling. Enhance your communication about your own emotions and improve your relationships at work and at home.
Assertiveness: Sometimes, we hold ourselves back from asking for what we need. Sometimes, we don’t know how to communicate our needs in useful ways or hesitate to ask for help. And sometimes, we can’t even acknowledge that we have needs. Learning that we have needs and can ask to have them met is a powerful way to improve our lives.
